Our Approach

Reading is something we do together

The Junior Great Books method is built on Shared Inquiry: children read a meaningful text, then dig into it through guided, open-ended conversation. There are no wrong answers, only ideas worth defending with evidence.

01

Texts worth talking about

Authentic, beautifully written stories chosen to provoke wonder and reward a second read.

02

Voices that grow

Choral reading, movement, and Shared Inquiry give every child the confidence to speak and be heard.

03

Thinking on the page

Vocabulary, phonics, and writing woven into every session, with rubrics that make growth visible.
